Advent pioneered the Asian Underground sounds in the NW starting in 99'. He has played at over 250 events from small events to the largest in the United States. Advent has represented Seattle with acts such as Dr. Zues, Rishi Rich, Karsh Kale, State Of Bengal, Sharaab, Dhamaal, Master Musicians Of Jajouka, Cheb I Sabbah, Bassnectar,...Advent's past affiliates include the world largest record Co. of quality world music Six Degrees Records, and the worlds most comprehensive and respected online source of world music Ethnotechno. Only Advent's past or present weeklies or monthly residencies at established Seattle music venues are listed- Chop Suey (06), Tost (05), Last Supper Club (04-05), Cobalt Room (2001'), Online Cafe (98'), Capitol Club (02'), The Mirabeau Room (04'-06'), Contour (05'), Heavens (06'), Toi (06'), Spice (05') Chop Suey (07'), Trinity (07'). Advent has also performed the NW's largest festivals-Bumbershoot (3 years in a row est. 400,000 in attendance) and Hempfest (4 years in a row est. 175,000) and the International Sundance Film Festival. Currently, Advent is taking a break from the scene to attend the University of Washington.
